MAK insists on new fees as Parliament sets up probe

Professor Mondo Kagonyera was yesterday officially installed as the Chancellor of Makerere University at a ceremony held at the University’s main building.

Uganda’s economic growth among the fastest.

Uganda’s economy is one of the fastest growing and one of the most liberal countries for direct foreign investment according to Mrs. Sarah Baagalaliwo, the director, Uganda Investment Authority.

Speaking at media center on the status of Uganda’s investment for the just concluded financial year 2006/2007, the economy has shown a positive trend in both local and foreign investments in Uganda.
